Sam Bridgmon Jr

Sam Bridgmon Jr., (70), passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, at his home. Sam was born on December 22, 1954, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Sam Bridgmon Sr. and Ruthie (Hemphill) Mays.  In 1991 he married Carla Coleman.

Sam enlisted in the Army in 1972. Sam was previously employed as a pipe fitter at the Lima Refinery, Tool & Die Manufacturing in Wickliffe Ohio, and Labor Ready in Cleveland Ohio. In his spare time, Sam loved watching movies.

He is survived by his mother, Ruthie; sons: Michael Seay Jr. of Cleveland, OH, Martrice Bendross of Cookeville, TN, Esli Israel of Los Angeles, CA, Noah Israel of Baltimore, MD, and Shemuel Israel Bridgmon of Danville, KY; daughters: Binah Ruth Israel of Lexington, KY, Binah Khemdah Mattath of Harrodsburg, KY, and Naomi Binah Israel of Nashville, TN; six grandchildren; brothers, Daune Bridgmon of Lima and James Bridgmon of Dayton, OH; sisters, Genetta Bridgmon-Thomas of IA, Emma Jackson of OH, Alice (Allen) Coleman of  TX, and Daisy Jones of Lima, Valencia (Robert) Malone of TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sam and daughter, Miryam Binah Israel.
