Michael Shrider

Michael K. Shrider (Mike) passed away peacefully on January 30, 2022 at the age of 72.  Although his passing was unexpected, he is at peace and comforted by our lord and savior. Mike was born on November 1,  in Lima, OH.  He graduated high school in 1968, before attending Michigan State University. He was then selected into service in the military. Mike faithfully served his country in the United States Navy for 4 years during the Vietnam Era, serving on a nuclear missile submarine as a radioman.  Back in country, Mike worked selling insurance before working for the U.S. Postal Service for 20+ years.  Mike was an avid golfer in his younger years, which he carried on as a personal hobby throughout his life.  He took up playing semi-professional billiards to which he earned a national title with his team from Charleston, SC in 2009.  
Mike was preceded in death by his father George & Brother Terry Shrider. He leaves behind a former wife; Catherine, his children, Blake; Danielle (Jonathan). His mother; Norma, Sister; Sharrene, Brother; Rick (Donna). He was also a proud grandfather to Bryce & Regan Kubus. He also leaves behind lots of nieces & nephews.
